We needed an updated Sexual Harassment brochure and a training website that would facilitate student and employee engagement with Sexual Harassment policies. We turned to the STC Arts Enterprise program because they had done an outstanding job for our office on previous projects.

The students are exceptional in their ability to work within budgetary and time constraints while also supplying their creative and innovative ideas. They were attentive listeners and thoroughly researched their proposed solutions. Due to the fact that they were so deeply engaged in working through all aspects of the project, we feel that they were more than successful in addressing the needs of everyone concerned.

The STC Arts Enterprise is great to work with. They listen to your needs and deliver exactly what you need. The Michigan Tech Undergraduate Student Government wanted to modernize it’s Student Activity Fee (SAF) management by creating an online database of all student org allocations. I didn’t know if a dynamic database like this was possible but with the help of STC Arts Enterprise they had it up and running in under a month.

We were so thrilled that we asked them to completely redo our website and to expand the database to include all student org equipment.

Working with the STC Enterprise has been a unique experience for us. Traditionally, we have designed and maintained our own web pages. We have been very pleasantly surprised and would like to work with STC Enterprise in the future as well.

The project began with the STC Arts Team providing us with survey comments from design professionals around the country, giving us feedback on our current web site. This is a very unique idea that has never occurred to us. We learned much from the survey conducted by the team in terms of expectations and what our visitors/customers would like to see on our web site. The final design of our new web site is very close to what we had expected. In terms of layout, it exceeds our expectations - with a perfect combination of sophistication and simplicity.

The management of the project was excellent. All major milestones were met on time. The STC Arts Team has been very professional in all interactions with us. We appreciated the "one point of contact" provided to us for all our comments and suggestions.

When Michigan Tech's Presidential Committee to Enhance Campus and Community needed a Web site, including a forum for soliciting suggestions from Michigan Tech students, faculty, and staff, we contracted with the STC Arts Enterprise for this work. The Enterprise did a spectacular job. They took our original concept, enhanced it, and showed us the result. They then modified this result in response to our specific requests.

The final product is a site that met our every requirement. I highly recommend the STC Arts Enterprise for such work.

Something that I was able to see and experience first hand through my Enterprise experience is the reality of commitments and obligations to clients. The beauty of the Enterprise is that, although it is professional and entwined with industry, it is still at the core a learning and growing experience. The demands and expectations are the same but there is much more support, guidance, and patience.

During my time as the executive director of the STC/A Arts Enterprise I was able to lead not only in project work but also in the professional & creative development of my teammates as students and future colleagues in professional environments. It gave me a chance to define my standards of work ethic and commitment at a time where I had many obligations across campus and community. Because I have the experience of intense multi-tasking and have been able to find ways to balance the professional and personal aspects that life demands.

I feel that I have a greater competitive edge in my career development and in any professional environment.
