A Noteworthy Performance
The STC Arts Enterprise is about solving communication problems. Quite
the opposite of what is going on in Michigan Tech's newest theater
production, The Memorandum. The Memorandum is written by Vaclav Havel and is directed by Christopher Plummer.
In the play, Joseph Gross tries to get his memo translated from a newly
made-up language designed to speed up office communication, and discovers
a whole new set of difficulties along the way. The play's action follows him through
office mayhem like no one has (hopefully) ever seen before.
One of our Enterprise members, Rae Suter, is a character in the play,
Helena. We regret it has forced her spend some time away from the
Enterprise, but are exited to see her in an example of how not to
communicate.
Office life has never been this bad, or this much fun!
