STC Alumna to Speak Friday


Kristin Carlson, Assistant Professor of Multimedia Design @ University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, will speak Friday 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in 134 Walker. Kristin will be discussing multimedia's place in contemporary art practice and career opportunities associated with multimedia & communication.

Kristin received her STC degree at MTU in 1999, and her M.F.A., 2001, at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Shawn Granlund wins Carnahan Enterprise Scholarship

Shawn's application was chosen as this year's scholarship winner -- the Carnahan Enterprise Scholarship is funded by Dr. Robert D. Carnahan, class of 1953. The program awards two $500 merit-based scholarships for an undergraduate student in Business and Economics and two $500 merit-based scholarships for an undergraduate student in Scientific and Technical Communications (STC).

Lynn C. and ... Scott Hamilton?


Team co-founder Lynn Czarnecki is studying abroad this term in Turnin, Italy, where, apprently, she's hanging out with Scott Hamilton during the Winter Olympics.
